Furore from The Hague with Conte: ‘Against rearmament and for peace. Europe must not forget its mission

In The Hague, alongside Giuseppe Conte and other progressive European figures, Mario Furore reiterated the need for a European policy centred on peace and cooperation, opposing any increase in military spending.
“Europe must remain faithful to its mission of peace and must not turn into a permanent theatre of rearmament,” said the MEP from the Movimento 5 Stelle, in a joint appeal issued on the sidelines of the international initiative against militarisation.
