Furore (M5S): ‘Lobby groups influenced the EU vote on due diligence’

Mario Furore has raised concerns over possible lobbying pressure surrounding the recent European vote on the due diligence directive, warning that such interference risks weakening corporate transparency and accountability standards.
“What is at stake is the transparency of our institutions: the European Parliament must defend the law and citizens’ rights without giving in,” the M5S MEP said. Furore’s remarks were reported by ANSA as part of the political reactions to the legislative package.
