Furore (M5S) rejects the InvestAI plan: ‘EU funding lower than China and the US, Eurobonds are needed

During the Paris summit on artificial intelligence, Mario Furore criticised the EU’s InvestAI plan, arguing that the actual funds allocated by the European Union are far lower than those invested by the United States and China.
“It is not true that €200 billion are being mobilised, but only €20 billion in real funding… We urgently need Eurobonds earmarked for productive investments,” the MEP said, reiterating the need to increase resources to make Europe competitive in the AI sector.
